What do you like best about this course?:

Vidit covers material thoroughly and in a friendly manner.

he was very personal, joked alot

Vidit makes this course so much fun to learn.

Vidit is so funny and helpful

I hate math so you can only imagine...

The way lectures were broken down in recitation.

The course was great mainly because of the TA, Vidit. He is an exceptionally good teacher that can refresh the material and teach in a short amount of time, the concepts and different approaches of problems.

Vidit is great at getting every student involved. He makes jokes during class and makes it seem as though he is just a friend helping us with math.

the TA

it's crazy

the teachers enthusiasm

The recitation helped a little bit, but I feel like sometimes the class was more teaching just for the quiz than teaching for the class.

He was funny.

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently?:

Destroy Maple labs.

keep on track

Nothing. Vidit was perfect <3

Uh...tell my instructor to not talk so much and show of other students dragons and pictures on their maple assignments. lol

Mae quizzes and maple labs be worth more.

I would definitely make a course-wide final because I was not happy to hear about the lack of difficultly in some of the other Multivariable Calculus classes. Specifically Dr. Z's class, which has some of the easiest exams I've ever seen in a college class of this level. It should be a general concept that Multivariable Calculus has the same material taught to each section and class so if its the same material, why not the same final? They give the same course-wide final in Calculus II, why not for III?

Not have a quiz at the end of every lecture.

none

not much

communicate better with the professor

You are a great person, but do more math and tell less jokes. I had fun in the class, but at the end of the period, I can't say I always knew what I was doing.

In what ways, if any, has this course or the instructor encouraged your intellectual growth and progress?:

I'm somewhat inclined to become a TA when I'm older now.

yes

This course was actually really fun and now I want to move on to another math course because I have an invested interest now in math courses.

I didn't learn much b/c i just hate math. he's a good instructor. nothing wrong with him. just...i don't get math.

He has taught me ways of analysis in Calculus that I couldn't have learned with any other teacher. His style of teaching and helping is phenomenal and I don't think I have ever had a recitation teacher with the skill in teaching and attention given to the students as Vidit does.

I have learned a lot about calc 3

made math fun

The instructor would provide alternative ways of explaining the concepts which would make me think about the multiple applications of the concepts.

He helped show that math doesn't have to be completely boring.

YOU, Vidit, are a goofball! A BIG GOOFBALL! But you were funny. =) You also talked way too freakin' much. Sometimes I just wanted to yell "JUST TEACH THE DAMN COURSE ALREADY" but I know you were just doing it to keep us all entertained b/c let's face it...math is horrible. No one really l likes it. Just you. And Butler. But I enjoyed recitation either way. Especially you picking on that girl that no one really likes.

give this guy a teaching job at rutgers.

good sense of humor, im not afraid to ask questions. and lastly, Vidit, please grow your hair back as fast as possible!
